On September 22, 2026 universities all across Quebec joined together over the lunch hour to unfurl banners carrying a shared message: Universities are a common good and investing in our universities is an investment in Quebec itself. The APBU was proud to take part in this coordinated action by the Table des partenaires universitaires (TPU) – a coalition of the provincial organizations representing everyone who makes university life possible: students, course lecturers, professors, research professionals, and support and administrative staff.
We hope it helps send a clear message to the Quebec government of the importance of supporting university funding leading up to the election in October.
